MEET AMANDA STUTZ, MA, LPC

Hi, I'm Amanda.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor providing online therapy for adult women throughout Missouri.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. Whether you're navigating a life transition, struggling with self-doubt, or wanting to feel more comfortable in your relationship with yourself, I'm here to offer a space where you can explore what's happening in your life and feel supported along the way.

MY APPROACH TO THERAPY

A space where you can show up as you are.

I know that opening up about what you're going through isn't always easy. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and know that you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I believe compassion and acceptance are essential, but I also value honesty and thoughtful challenges that encourage growth.

Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to what you're experiencing, build greater self-awareness, and work toward changes that feel meaningful to you.

Above all, I want you to feel supported, encouraged, and comfortable being yourself.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE WORK

What I've learned along the way.

I've spent more than 15 years working in behavioral healthcare, and those experiences have shaped the way I approach therapy today.

I've had the opportunity to work with people in a variety of treatment settings, from outpatient therapy to more intensive levels of care. Through that work, I've come to appreciate just how interconnected our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences can be.

I don't believe there's a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I want to understand your individual experiences, what matters to you, and what you hope to gain from our time together.

My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), always tailored to your needs and goals.
